Loop It Up
Loop It Up
Process
-
For the brand concept “Loop It Up,” I set out to demonstrate my creative skills through a comprehensive logo redesign and brand vision. My objective was to reimagine the organization’s visual identity in a way that vividly communicates its mission and origin. Loop It Up began as a non-profit dedicated to teaching children the crafts of crocheting and knitting—a story that inspired the direction of my design process.
-
The redesigned logo places greater emphasis on the name “Loop It Up” by visually integrating looping yarn motifs that evoke both the process and joy of fiber arts. Central to the new identity is a playful mascot: a cat named Loopy, depicted engagingly playing with yarn. This character not only adds a whimsical touch but also enhances relatability and engagement for young audiences.
-
To further increase appeal among children, I curated a vibrant color palette featuring cheerful, energetic hues. These colors were chosen to foster a sense of creativity and fun, making the brand more inviting. In addition, I envisioned a range of branded products designed to reinforce the organization’s ethos and spark excitement, including a painting palette hoodie, a notebook adorned with crochet needles and yarn, a tote bag with yarn and needle illustrations, a pencil sharpener with playful shavings, and a charming sticker sheet tailored for children.
